Hi, I’m Laura, though most people call me Lau. I’m the founder of Bridal & Beauty by Lau and I work from my calm, welcoming salon space at Worting House in Basingstoke.
I’ve always had a genuine love for all things hair, makeup and beauty. Alongside being a qualified bridal hair and makeup artist, I’m also a fully qualified beauty therapist with over a decade of experience in the industry. That combination allows me to offer both bespoke bridal hair and makeup, as well as a range of beauty treatments, all under one roof.
When it comes to bridal, my signature style leans towards soft glam, but no two brides are ever the same. Your wedding preview is all about you. We’ll chat through your likes, dislikes and inspiration, address any skin or hair concerns, and bring your vision to life in a relaxed, unhurried setting. You’ll head into your wedding day feeling confident, prepared and completely yourself.
Wedding mornings are a huge part of the experience and something I truly care about. With a carefully planned schedule shared in advance, the morning feels calm and enjoyable, with time for music, laughter and those special moments with your closest people. My aim is always to make you feel supported, listened to and excited from the moment you enquire right through to the day itself.
